Krystal Marie Ball

 Krystal Marie (born on November 24 1982) is an American political commentator from the United States. She was previously a politician, and a TV host on MSNBC as well as a regular contributor to The Huffington Post, and former cohost of The Hill’s Rising together with Saagar Enjeti. In May 2021, Ball and Enjeti announced that they were quitting the show in order to start their own project called Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball is a cohost of the show Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has guest starred on shows like Real Time with Bill Maher, Fox News (CNBC), Fox News (Fox News) as well as CNN (CNBC). Ball was married to Jonathan Dariyanani as of 2020. Ball attributes her new political interest to her experiences being a mother in the 2008 primary elections. In addition, she observed the US elections for president during her time working in Jordan. She was able to see how the outcome affected people in the country, and thus gained an appreciation of the global impact US politics have on the lives of everyone around the globe. She was a Senior Fellow at the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee in Virginia's 1st Congressional District for Congress in 2010, losing to Rob Wittman, who is the incumbent Republican. From June 2012 through July 2015, she hosted of The Cycle on MSNBC. In May of 2017, she launched the People's House Project, a political action group working on behalf of Democratic causes.
